Designer born in Les Halles, France, was inspired to link fashion with perfume. In 1913, he created the Paul Poiret perfume Nuit de Chine by Les Parfums de Rosine. The perfume became the first perfume ever created by a fashion designer.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Kurkdijan first perfume potion created at the age of 25 years, for the famous designer Jean Paul Gaultier.
After that, Kurkdjian success helping classmates fashion house Lanvin, Narciso Rodriguez, Ungaro and Giorgio Armani to create a perfume. Now, Maison Francis Kurkdjian shaded stand alone without a specific designer or fashion house, with a series of perfumes that are always innovative.
